Content Editor – Job Description

We are looking for a meticulous Content Editor to join our Marketing team. The ideal candidate will proofread and edit high-quality content, ensuring it aligns with our brand guidelines, industry standards, and SEO best practices.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Proofread and edit a wide variety of SEO content for the sales and digital marketing teams.
• Ensure the grammar, style, tone, clarity, and context are presented clearly, correctly, and consistently in line with the company’s brand voice and industry standards.
• Work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Follow AP style guide.
• Optimize content for SEO by incorporating relevant keywords and metadata.
• Fact-check information to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with writers to provide constructive feedback and improve content quality.

Essential Qualifications

• 4-6 years of full-time work experience in SaaS-based Content Editing.
• Excellent English-language editing, reading comprehension, and writing skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• The ability to deliver excellent quality that is free of error within tight deadlines.
• The ability to provide clear, actionable feedback.
• An inquisitive enthusiasm for learning about technological advancements.
• Good understanding of information security and privacy principles related to organizational and confidential data, including data classification, masking, retention, destruction, and access control.
• Awareness of relevant regulatory requirements and the ability to apply basic security controls is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Literature/Arts in English, Communications, Literature, Linguistics, or a similar field.
