Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering:

  • Work closely with stakeholders, including clients, product managers, and developers, to gather, define, and document business requirements.
  • Analyze business needs and translate them into detailed functional and non-functional specifications.

Business Process Analysis:

  • Analyze and document business processes to identify areas of improvement or automation.
  • Create business process models, workflows, and process maps to ensure clear understanding across teams.

Solution Design & Documentation:

  • Collaborate with technical teams to design and propose business solutions.
  • Prepare functional design documents, use cases, user stories, and other artifacts to clearly communicate requirements.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure that development teams understand and implement business requirements.

Testing & Quality Assurance:

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and use cases to ensure that the solutions meet the defined business requirements.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with end-users and ensure issues are resolved promptly.

Project Management Support:

  • Support project managers in tracking project progress, identifying risks, and ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Provide status reports and updates to stakeholders on the project’s progress and any issues that may arise.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve business processes.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize the development process and suggest improvements based on analysis and feedback.

Required Skills:

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in an IT product-based company.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of SDLC and software development processes.
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management and collaboration platforms.
  • Proficiency in process modeling, workflow diagrams, and requirements documentation.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
